Children in your country’s culture

Research and share information about children in the culture of every country in the world!

A short time ago we published interactive contents for every country in the world in order to ensure a greater respect for the Rights of the Child.

These tools are meant to be accessible and aim to promote a general undrestanding of the situation of children across the world. They also offer a glimpse of traditions and customs linked to childhood and the country in which the children grow up.

Cultural perception is especially important because it permits understanding of certain problems encountered by the child in his or her country. Some traditions or beliefs are the source of many problems, while others promote understanding of differences and present opportunities to open up to another culture.

There are many cultural characteristics to discover about every country, so we encourage you to use the tools for more information!

If you are interested in contributing to this initiative, please don’t hesitate to share information on how children are perceived in your country’s culture.
