The association Humanium supports sustainable development in the village of Annathur in India through a global approach which combines several support programs, including a health program.
Since the launch of the health program at Annathur 6 months ago, 66 people have received free medical care on the first medical camp, marking the beginning of a series of general and specialised medical camps. Some camps will focus on issues specific to rural living and others will be specialised in dental and optical care.
Besides, 4 awareness campaigns on health and personal hygiene’s basic principles have already been conducted, benefiting a total of 904 people.
These medical camps are also particularly oriented to the health of mothers and their children who are the most vulnerable to disease.
